No. We do not book or hold appointments. When we detect an opening, we notify you so you can book it directly on the official NY DMV website.
Are you affiliated with the New York DMV?
No. We are an independent company and are not connected with the NY DMV or any government agency.
Where do you get appointment information?
We track publicly available appointment calendars on the official DMV site. All data is from online sources accessible to anyone.
How does the service work?
Our system continuously checks for cancellations and last-minute openings. When a new slot appears, we send an alert by SMS so you can act quickly.

Which appointment types are supported?
Fast Lane supports these NY DMV services:
- Upgrade to a REAL ID or Enhanced License (EDL)
- Renew Photo Document
- Get a Non-Driver ID

Alerts & Notifications
How fast are alerts?
As soon as an opening is detected and matches your filters, we text you right away. Openings can disappear quickly, so it’s important to act fast.
Do you limit the number of texts?
No. We only send alerts that match your appointment type and ZIP radius (about 50 miles). There are no artificial limits.
Why haven’t I received any alerts yet?
If you haven’t received a text, it means no appointments have opened in your area yet. We only notify you when something is actually available near you.
Cancellations & Refunds
How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel anytime by replying STOP to any SMS message or by visiting nydmvappointments.com/unsubscribe. Cancellations take effect immediately and you won’t be billed again.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are limited. You may request a 50% refund if no alerts were delivered during your billing cycle. If even one alert was delivered, the plan is considered active and no refund will be issued. Refunds are not given for mid-cycle cancellations.
Do you store my DMV login or personal data?
No. We don’t collect DMV credentials. We only store your phone number and ZIP code to deliver alerts. Data is never sold or shared beyond our SMS provider (Twilio).
